Grip Spritz gets Run4Roses better traction!
World’s Best Girls Basketball Tournament
The largest girls' basketball tournament in the world is in Louisville, Kentucky.
You know Grip Spritz had to be at Run4Roses!
What is Run4Roses?
Every July, teams from all over the world face off under one roof.
1,700 teams, 14,000 athletes, 2,100 college coaches, and the largest basketball media outlets in the game… sign us up!
This year’s event featured basketball teams from across the US, Europe, Australia, and even China!
In addition, it coincided with session 3 of the Nike Girl’s EYBL circuit. So it was even bigger!
What is Nike EYBL?
Each year, 32 of the best girl’s basketball teams from around the country compete under the Nike umbrella to be crowned that year’s champion.
This brings in some massive college coaches to scout. You name it, they were there to see these girls firsthand!
A few games were even broadcast on ESPN.
What was Grip Spritz doing?
Even at these massive events, most courts are drop-down, tile, plastic courts… and they’re slippery!
When you’re playing in these huge games, you have to make sure you can play your hardest.
Grip Spritz had our traction mats out in the hallway and inside of the gym for every girl to use! We had to make sure there were no slippery basketball shoes there.
This week is also an awesome time for us to catch up with players, coaches, scouts, and media members we’ve grown to know throughout the years!
These girls know what it’s like to play on dusty basketball courts without Grip Spritz, so you know they had to stop by to get their shoes ready!
We also ran a quick interview with our guys at SportsLifeTalk!
Catching up is always needed, but we also get to link up with some new teams and players!
Once these teams see other teams adding grip to their basketball shoes on these courts, they want to come try it out, too!
We met families from all over the world, which in itself is such an awesome experience. Some knew Grip Spritz already and were just happy to save money on shipping! Others were just excited to finally find a fix for slippery basketball shoes.
One of the teams we got to work with was Cy Fair Elite. They’re one of the 32 teams Nike invited to play in the EYBL circuit.
They also just won the 2024 National Championship in Chicago this weekend!
They’re back-to-back champions and their roster is loaded!
Aaliyah Chavez is the number one ranked player in all of girls' high school basketball. But, it isn’t just her! 4 of her teammates are ranked in the top 25 as well.
Of course, they use Grip Spritz!
They even used it on ESPN!
We can’t thank Cy Fair enough for the added exposure they gave Grip Spritz!
You can’t hope for a better week than what we had in Louisville!
You know we’ll be back next summer when this event is even bigger!
Remember, the best girls basketball players in the world are using Grip Spritz, including the back-to-back national champions… why aren’t you?!
